Centered in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, and with members coming from far afield, we at North Coast Artists are a group passionate about creating, promoting and enjoying all forms of visual art.
We are comprised of accomplished artists, novices and those who simply have a deep appreciation for art.
Each month, members look forward in anticipation to our meetings, which are more about learning than perfection, a time for fun-filled togetherness and helping one another to develop and grow as artists. With our monthly in-house competitions, we get to share our work with one another, striving to capture the essence of our chosen theme as closely as possible.
An invited guest artist is always there to enthrall us with their unique talents, inspiring us to try out new techniques and mediums, and as always, the demonstration is followed by a delicious teatime spread.
Our dedicated committee takes pride in keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently, and with our members’ best interests at heart, always seeking new ways in which to gain exposure for their phenomenal work.
